Criz had brought letters to the City Council hearing reporting that Crazy Shirts
fully supports the sale of the site to the City. There has been some criticism concerning the Visioning process and how the acquisition of the
Sugar Mill site took place. Critics see the visioning process as not being
inclusive and question the process of how the vision team parlayed $2 million
into $9 million. There will be a third reading budget hearing on May 24,
2000, everyone is encouraged to attend or submit written testimony.
$2.9 million has been appropriated for relocation of Aiea Library.
There is still a possibility that the Governor may line item out the funding of

ACA should make a courtesy call to the Governor to gain his support.
